Your company has been hired to create a presentation that will be shown to Congress to convince them to provide the President with funding to create a new national monument in Washington D.C. You have been given the job of either cartographer, architect, producer or project manager.

Each job involves research using a tool kit of links that are provided for you and some helpful ways to organize your information. Once your research is complete, you will attend a seminar with other people who have the same role that you do to discuss ways to help your group make a decision. You will bring this information back to your group and make a choice.

Once your choice for the memorial is made, you will design it, create a map showing its location and write a script for the presentation to Congress. Remember, the presentation needs to be very persuasive! We will show the presentations to Congress and they will vote on the winning design. Ready to start?
